A distant planet... far from the young sun it orbits. It's nearest neighbour, a more hospitable planet with several moons. Unhabitable, but with breathtaking beauty. This is the Hymn of the Evenstar.
Did that even make sense? Whatever. Anyway, this is my newest big space piece. Real quickie, and I worked at a really small resolution, so if you want a print version, too bad. T4V.
Details
Programs - Terragen + Photoshop CS2
Time taken - 9 hours
Original resolution - 1200 x 1600
Main planet - *Mr-Frenzy
Terrain - same one as Horizon, with changes.
Now that is impressive !!
Just something you can fix, the reflection of the planet and moon doesnt seem distorted at all, I think since the water is quite wavy there should be a great amount of distortion.
Fantastic piece the best you have yet.
You are welcome.
A combination of glass and ocean ripple should do the job but first scale the planet image thin, apply the filter and scale back, a bit of fine touching with the smudge tool to correct any wierdness.
cheers

As for the reflection, I have never found the right distortion filter, Ocean Ripple and Ripple just make it look bad. I dunno...
